Students are qualified to take the Comprehensive Exam if they have accomplished the following:
- Finish 18 units of core courses (IS 201, IS 214, IS 215, IS 226, IS 238, and IS 272);
- Receive a grade of ‘S’ for IS 295a; and
- Have a GWA of 2.0 or better.
Application for Comprehensive Examination*
- Accomplish the application form for Comprehensive Examination.
- Pay the application fee of PHP 200. See payment options and procedure.
- Submit the accomplished comprehensive examination form and the proof of payment to the Faculty Office or directly to the Office of the University Registrar. E-copies of both documents are also acceptable.
- The Office of the University Registrar (OUR) will attach a signed True Copy of Grades (TCG) to the document. The application together with the signed TCG will be forwarded to the Faculty Office for proper evaluation of the PC.
- The OUR will be provided by the Faculty Office with the result of the comprehensive exam taken by the student, for encoding to the OUR database.
